In Mr. Cronkite's class he taught us about science.

"Sewer lice project
Our teacher brought in some ''sewer lice'' in a jar.
He passed it around the classroom.
Some people thought that the sewer water was Mountain Dew.  The sewer lice was swimming up and down.
Then he drank it even the sewer lice. IT WAS A LIE!!!!!
The sewer lice was raisins and they were in Mountain Dew.
It looked like they were swimming but it was the Mountain Dew's air bubbles.


Seasons

There are 4 seasons. They are summer, winter, fall, spring . The seasons occur on the Earth's rotation.
All of the seasons have some Holidays like here are some common holidays in the seasons. In winter there is Christmas and in Spring there is Easter and in summer there is 4th of July and in fall there is Halloween.



 Planets
All of the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, dwarf planet.
Mercury  the texture is bumpy it is the closest planet to the sun.
Venus  the texture is bumpy it is the same size as the Earth.
Earth is the only planet that you can live on and it is the 3rd planet closest to the sun.
Mars has a thin atmosphere and the texture is smooth and it is red.
Jupiter it is frozen gas the texture is bumpy and it is fire colors.
Saturn is yellow and has rings around it it is Jupiter is 600 feet thick.
Uranus is pale green and is a third of Jupiter and is the seventh planet from the sun.
Neptune is blue it has rings around it and is the eighth planet from the sun.
Dwarf planet some people say that it isn't a planet  the dwarf planet is Pluto.

The Lunch Kitchen

we really like the lunch kitchen because,of the checkered floor makes the kitchen really POP! Especially with the red serving table,they have very good snacks like boiled eggs,Oreo, peanut butter crackers,switch's,and on Fridays we have ice cream.We always get good meals like grilled chicken sandwich  and mini pancakes, but they might want to turn the oven down because some of the food is to hot.

Recess - A Very Fun Thing to Look Forward To

At recess, there is a playground that we "hang out" on.  Some students think that the playground is the "bomb-diggity", but some students think that the playground is a little too small.  One thing that would make the playground better would be swings.

GAMES
One of the games we play at recess is kickball.  To pick teams, we split into Horizon/Dimondale vs. Wilcox/Dimondale.  Mr. Bliton is usually the pitcher.  You have to be careful when playing kickball because there is a sewer grate as first base.  You also have to be careful of getting hit in the face by the ball.

Tether-ball is another game we play.  It is really easy to get hurt while playing because the ball swings fast at your face.  You also have to pay attention to not get hit.  Tether-ball is usually two against two.

Another game is basketball.  Sometimes we play lightening and sometimes we just free shoot.  We even play H-O-R-S-E or P-I-G sometimes.  Be careful when rebounding or other kids might drop the ball on your head (by accident!).

To play frisbee you have to know how to throw the frisbee right.  If you don't throw it right, the frisbee will not go where you want it to.  It is important to pay attention to the wind direction while playing frisbee.

When it is raining or freezing cold we have inside recess.  During inside recess we are in the gym and we play backetball and jump rope.  There is also a corner where you can play volleyball or practice your fitness.  You can also do gymnastics, play fish tank, or play lightening.

Art

Art, fun and hey you get to draw, paint,use clay and make pop up picture cards too. Art is creation of fun and you get to have fun with the teachers too sometimes with your enemies to it's hard to get along with your enemies when your having fun because they mess up all your stuff but still try to ignore them and you might just have a blast in art.

Music

Sing, dance have fun and let the wild out and play some instruments like recorders. We watch YouTube videos and even sometimes a movie well if we have a substitute teacher.

Buses

Loud and noisy smelly and stinky too but it's your transportation goof off and still get in trouble talk to friends who ride your bus. Buses aren't to clean either but you can mess around and play cool things like true or false,and truth or dare too. You can also play cool games on your phone.

Partners

Partners can be friends and can be enemies too. You can get along or you can get mad at them all the time. Partners are cool but sometimes mean and are even sometimes messy too.

Reading Log

A reading log is a piece of paper that you put down how many minutes you read this week the minimum minutes you can read is 100 minutes. The maximum - you tell me so grab that book and get reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTABLE NIGHT AT WASHINTON WOODS!

Being Ludwig Van Beethoven for one whole hour was quite intresting but it litterly felt like I was actually that pearson! Incase some of you random people looking at this web page don't even know what notable night is let me explain it to you, first things first we have to get studying and get everything planned ou...t we starded about in Oct and ended in Feb. We had to STUDY STUDY STUDY!, If we wanted to get it right and be able to awnser qustions. On the night of the presentation we had to dress up like are charcter for some people it was pretty hard to find the right coustume but we all got one. Parents teachers and any other commuity members where welcome to come and ask all the 5th graders qutions about their notables! Notble night was pretty amayzing and I'm sure that even though it was really hard work to do all that studing I think all students had fun!

Notables

Notables, a night to remember we all worked so hard on our people. There were people that had about 7 pages on the biography. There were three Inidians Tecumseh, Geronimo and Chief Joseph.  Notables was definitely a night to remember.

A blast loud and crowded with people. Hard to memorize everything about your notable. Hard work but still a blast. Notables you find a lot and by a lot I mean a lot of information on an unknown person and you get to dress up like him or her. You say a lot of what your notable said like I was an Indian and he said "the sun was coming up and awoke and was still.

Lunch. Friends talk and eat at the same time. Lunch. Sit by your besties and have tons of laughs. When you're with your besties you have funny laughs and have a blast at lunch.

Where friends can chill. Talk mess around where you can be yourself with friends. Recess is the place to be and the time to be with friends is cool.
